The mascots

Skully and Puss are how the story gets told. They're not a logo — they turn up in every design, doing something. Cooking on the beach. Building. Racing. Each drop is a scene, and the scenes connect.

Look closely and things repeat. A cooler box in one design shows up on wheels in the next. Nothing in a Duppy scene is only decoration.

The karts

Every kart is built from something that belongs at a beach cookout. A cooler box. A BBQ drum. Dropped on wide wheels, stanced, and sent.

That's the whole idea in one object — the thing you'd find at a lime, built like the thing you'd find at a meet.

Who we are

Duppy is a Caribbean word. It means a spirit - the kind that lingers, moves at night, and doesn't much care what you think about it.

That's where the name came from, and the skull came with it.

Where the two halves meet

People see Duppy and clock the cars first. What they don't expect is the Caribbean half. But the two were never separate. Japanese cars are what we drive back home - they're on every road, in every yard, held together and kept running long past what anyone intended. That's where the love came from.

So this isn't JDM with a bit of island flavour on top. It's one culture that already contained both.
